Requirements

  • 2+ years experience in a customer support role.
  • Proficiency with remote support tools (WebEx, Bombgar, Teams).
  • Excellent problem-solving and technical writing skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Aptitude for learning new products and systems.
  • Experience with IP networking, Cloud solutions, or programming (Python, REST API).
  • Familiarity with storage solutions (Hitachi, EMC, IBM, NAS) or operating systems (Windows, Linux, VMware).
  • Ability to work flexible shifts (nights, weekends, standby).

Responsibilities

  • Schedule and deploy remote microcode upgrades.
  • Undertake remote health checking and review results with customers.
  • Support Customer Engineers and Partners in executing action plans.
  • Perform remote support of HRO function and handle operational escalations.
  • Collect, manage, and analyze diagnostic data.
  • Escalate cases to Global Support practice teams.
  • Contribute technical knowledge base documentation.
  • Maintain agreed service levels.
