Requirements
- Strong expertise in Kafka Testing & Event-Driven Architecture.
- Proficiency in API Testing for REST APIs and microservices.
- Experience with test automation tools: Java, Selenium, Cucumber BDD, Karate Framework, and REST Assured.
- Backend & database testing experience: Oracle, SQL Server, MongoDB, DB2.
- Knowledge of CI/CD & DevOps tools: Jenkins, Maven, Git/GitHub/GitLab.
- Familiarity with API tools: Postman, Swagger, SoapUI.
- Competence in Logging & Monitoring tools: Splunk.
- Hands-on experience with accessibility testing.
- Proficient in using Jira and Confluence for defect tracking and collaboration.
- Solid understanding of performance testing concepts.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for Angular UI components, RESTful microservices, event-driven systems using Kafka, and MongoDB.
- Develop end-to-end (E2E), integration, Functional, Regression, and Performance test suites.
- Create automated validation for Kafka producers/consumers and asynchronous workflows.
- Validate microservice contracts and API interactions including JSON/XML Payload.
- Perform database testing including schema validation, data integrity, and performance checks in MongoDB.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Perform root cause analysis for defects and production issues.
- Develop and maintain test documentation and quality metrics dashboards.
- Create detailed, reproducible defect tickets and link coverage to JIRA stories.
- Identify automation opportunities from manual test execution.
