Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Embedded Software Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in DO-178B/C certification processes.
- Proven experience preparing certification documents.
- Familiarity with all Software Accomplishment Summary (SAS) artifacts.
- Experience supporting DERs and audit processes (SOI1–SOI4).
- Solid understanding of FAA/EASA certification requirements.
- Strong analytical and debugging skills in embedded environments.
- Preferred: Prior experience working with Boeing or large aerospace OEMs.
Responsibilities
- Perform detailed analysis of embedded software (memory, object code, watchdog timers, partitioning, dead code analysis).
- Develop and execute embedded software testing strategies including unit, software-hardware, and software-software integration testing.
- Create and review test plans, procedures, structural coverage analysis, and worst-case execution time (WCET) analysis.
- Prepare and review certification documentation in accordance with DO-178B/C.
- Develop and review Software Accomplishment Summaries (SAS) and associated artifacts (SDP, SVP, PSAC, HLR/LLR, SCI, SCMP, SVMP).
- Support Stage of Involvement (SOI1–SOI4) audits.
- Collaborate with FAA/EASA authorities.
- Provide hands-on support to Designated Engineering Representatives (DERs).
