Requirements
- 5+ years of experience managing software engineering teams in a product-driven environment, ideally across multiple squads or tech stacks.
- 5+ years of hands-on software development experience working in agile teams.
- Proven track record of mentoring engineers and building high-performing teams.
- Strong understanding of software architecture, system design, and scalable distributed systems.
- Ability to partner with product teams to deliver iterative, customer-focused solutions quickly and effectively.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
- Deep understanding of agile development practices and experience leading agile engineering organizations.
- Strong ownership mindset with the ability to balance technical opinions and collaborative decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage multiple engineering squads, ensuring strong execution, delivery discipline, and alignment with product goals.
- Provide technical leadership across architecture and system design, guiding teams toward scalable and maintainable solutions.
- Drive end-to-end delivery of software products, from planning and estimation through to production release and iteration.
- Partner closely with product management and other stakeholders to define priorities, scope experiments, and accelerate delivery cycles.
- Mentor, coach, and develop engineers, fostering a culture of growth, accountability, and high performance.
- Promote engineering best practices, including agile methodologies, code quality standards, and efficient development workflows.
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration across engineering, product, and business teams to ensure alignment and transparency.
- Identify and remove technical and organizational blockers to maintain smooth and predictable delivery.
