Requirements
- 6-8+ years in software engineering.
- 3+ years managing engineers or equivalent leadership experience.
- Experience delivering consumer-facing software.
- Experience designing and launching backend systems at scale (Python, Kotlin, AWS, MySQL, Kubernetes).
- Experience with declarative UI frameworks (React, Vue).
- Proven track record in stakeholder management and ownership.
- Demonstrated ability to grow, lead, and support high-performing teams.
- Hands-on technical leadership capabilities.
- Strong technical judgement regarding architecture and quality.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of engineering managers and software engineers.
- Create a long term technical roadmap.
- Establish OKRs and critical metrics.
- Remove roadblocks and manage team priorities.
- Drive continuous improvement in engineering processes.
- Collaborate across teams in the product development lifecycle.
- Own availability and performance of your team’s systems.
- Build a strong engineering culture.
- Coach, develop, and retain team members.
