- 8+ years of overall experience.
- 6+ years of experience in highly specialized IT disciplines.
- 6+ years of experience in database programming and/or administration.
- 4+ years of experience with IBM DB2 database management.
- 4+ years of experience using IBM z/OS mainframe operating systems.
- Experience with Java/J2EE, Oracle DB, SQL, Windows, COBOL, JCL.
- Strong understanding of government security requirements.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Support the IRS EDOS program modernization effort.
- Modernize legacy tax processing systems.
- Perform database programming and/or administration.
- Apply system architecture and disaster recovery strategies.
