Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Health Informatics, Business Administration, Public Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in program analysis, business analysis, or a related discipline.
  • Relevant clinical informatics experience in a Veterans Administration healthcare setting.
  • Demonstrated experience identifying and mitigating risks within complex federal program environments.
  • Advanced knowledge of program planning, analysis, and evaluation methodologies for federal health IT programs.
  • Expert-level ability to use source data and analytical tools.
  • Advanced proficiency with qualitative and quantitative analytical techniques and data visualization.
  • Understanding of SAFe Lean-Agile principles and practices.
  • Strong risk management skills.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, analysis, and evaluation of operating programs using advanced qualitative and quantitative analytical methods.
  • Use source data to evaluate program and business process effectiveness.
  • Present complex program data to communicate status, trends, and risks to stakeholders.
  • Apply clinical informatics expertise to VA healthcare strategy.
  • Identify, document, and mitigate program risks.
  • Lead business process improvement initiatives.
  • Apply SAFe Lean-Agile principles to drive value delivery.
  • Support high-performing Agile teams during PI planning and sprint reviews.
  • Maintain program performance metrics and dashboards.
  • Mentor mid-level analysts.
