Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in education, instructional design, curriculum development, youth development, training and coaching, or public health.
- Familiarity with instructional design frameworks.
- Ability to work with young adults and college students.
- Tech-savvy: familiar with LMS platforms (e.g., LearnUpon), video editing, and design tools like Canva.
- Ability to travel nationally as needed (10–15%).
- Strong facilitation and public speaking skills.
- Skilled at providing constructive feedback and coaching.
- Collaborative communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver onboarding for mentors to succeed in various educational settings.
- Build ongoing professional development including office hours, monthly sessions, and coaching.
- Develop practical, mentor-ready resources like videos, how-to guides, and templates.
- Partner with Curriculum and Program Teams to review lesson plans and provide implementation feedback.
- Translate curriculum into actionable mentor-ready training.
- Work with the data team to analyze mentor struggle points and program fidelity.
- Design content formats for college students like short videos, notifications, and interactive modules.
- Spend 10-15% of time in the field observing mentors.
