Requirements

  • Extensive experience in senior accounting or financial control roles, ideally within a global technology or SaaS environment.
  • Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA or equivalent) with strong academic foundations.
  • Deep expertise in IFRS and financial reporting standards, including hands-on experience with complex, multi-entity structures.
  • Proven experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite or similar) and advanced Excel/data analysis capabilities.
  • Strong understanding of financial controls, audit processes, and governance frameworks in international organizations.
  • Analytical, detail-oriented mindset with a strong commitment to accuracy, integrity, and structured problem-solving.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage confidently across senior leadership and external partners.
  • Experience in high-growth or transformation environments, with exposure to process improvement and system implementation initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end financial control environment, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and integrity of all financial reporting across monthly, quarterly, and annual cycles, including statutory accounts and management reporting.
  • Design, implement, and continuously improve financial policies, controls, and governance frameworks to support scalable global operations.
  • Oversee balance sheet integrity, reconciliations, journal reviews, and financial close processes, ensuring timely and compliant reporting.
  • Manage external audit processes and act as a key point of contact for auditors, tax authorities, and external advisors.
  • Drive improvements in finance systems, processes, and data quality, including adoption of automation and AI-enabled tools where appropriate.
  • Ensure compliance with evolving regulatory requirements across multiple jurisdictions and IFRS standards.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop accounting team members, fostering a culture of accountability, precision, and continuous learning.
