Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in software engineering or security engineering
- Strong programming background in Go, Java, Python, C++, or Rust
- Deep expertise in IAM systems, directory services, Okta, or Microsoft Entra ID
- Proven experience designing and operating authentication/authorization systems at scale
- Hands-on experience leading identity migrations or platform consolidations
- Strong understanding of security architecture principles
- Experience working with AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Ability to design robust, scalable systems
- Proven leadership experience mentoring engineers
- Strong communication skills for influencing architectural decisions
Responsibilities
- Define and lead the technical architecture for enterprise identity and access management systems
- Design and evolve secure authentication and authorization systems using protocols such as OAuth, OpenID Connect, and SAML
- Drive large-scale identity platform transformations
- Architect and enforce least-privilege and just-in-time access models
- Own operational excellence for IAM services, including reliability, observability, and incident response
- Improve system resilience through testing and automated validation frameworks
- Collaborate with infrastructure and security teams to integrate identity services with AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Lead technical design reviews and set engineering standards
- Mentor senior engineers and influence engineering practices
- Contribute to building scalable APIs for access workflows
