Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required; additional education in business or finance is a plus.
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in the life and/or health insurance industry, with direct sales experience strongly preferred.
- Active or ability to obtain Life and Health insurance licensing as required.
- Strong sales acumen with proven ability to close deals in a fast-paced inside sales environment.
- Excellent verbal communication skills, particularly in phone-based customer interactions.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, maintain attention to detail, and work efficiently under pressure.
- Comfortable working with CRM systems, basic Microsoft tools, and digital sales platforms.
- Highly motivated, results-driven, and able to handle high outbound activity levels.
Responsibilities
- Manage inbound and outbound consumer inquiries, including warm transfers, call-ins, and application requests to support life insurance sales.
- Conduct needs analysis and guide customers through selecting suitable life insurance policies from a range of carriers.
- Use proprietary sales tools and carrier platforms to complete electronic applications efficiently and accurately.
- Follow up with prospects and clients to ensure a smooth sales process and deliver high-quality customer service.
- Maintain strong knowledge of life insurance products, underwriting guidelines, and carrier offerings to support consultative selling.
- Collaborate with internal support teams, including case management, to ensure timely processing and policy issuance.
- Consistently meet or exceed daily application and sales targets in a high-volume, performance-driven environment.
