Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields
- 2+ years of experience as a Product Owner or similar role in Agile environments
- Strong experience in the insurance or insurtech industry
- Ability to translate complex business and regulatory requirements into structured product specifications
- Familiarity with technical concepts such as APIs (REST/SOAP), JSON structures, and data mappings
- Strong analytical and data-driven mindset
- Experience managing backlogs, writing detailed user stories, and defining acceptance criteria
- Strong communication skills with ability to bridge technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to operate under pressure and manage critical incidents with composure
- Strong negotiation skills
- High attention to detail
Responsibilities
- Lead Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, refinement, daily alignments, and reviews with engineering and UX teams
- Translate complex insurance rules, pricing models, and integration requirements into structured user stories and backlog items
- Analyze and interpret insurer documentation to map business rules such as coverage, pricing logic, commissions, and claims flows
- Ensure product quality by validating and homologating deliveries with QA teams, guaranteeing accuracy in calculation engines and outputs
- Monitor product performance metrics and dashboards to identify bottlenecks, drop-offs, and optimization opportunities
- Prioritize backlog and manage competing demands, ensuring alignment between business needs and technical feasibility
- Handle incidents and critical issues such as insurer downtime or integration failures, defining contingency actions quickly
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders across business, technology, and insurance partners to align expectations and delivery
- Support continuous product improvement by identifying opportunities for optimization in workflows and integrations
- Ensure clear documentation of requirements, acceptance criteria, and technical dependencies
