Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in International Development, Public Administration, Business, Economics, Political Science, Public Health, or related field
  • 4+ years of experience in project management, program operations, or development program support
  • Prior experience in NGOs, government agencies, or international development organizations preferred
  • Strong understanding of project management principles and basic knowledge of donor-funded program operations (USG experience preferred)
  • Familiarity with procurement processes, subcontractor management, and compliance requirements
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear reports and updates
  • Proficiency in tools such as Microsoft Office, Jira, or similar project management systems
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while contributing to team coordination
  • Fluency in English required

Responsibilities

  • Support the implementation and coordination of complex multi-country programs, ensuring alignment with donor and organizational requirements
  • Track project deliverables, milestones, workplans, and timelines to ensure successful execution of activities
  • Assist in preparing reports, briefings, presentations, and management updates by synthesizing operational and financial data
  • Coordinate with donors, implementing partners, subcontractors, consultants, and government stakeholders to support program delivery
  • Support project startup, planning, budgeting, and ongoing implementation activities across multiple workstreams
  • Maintain project documentation systems and ensure proper records management across platforms such as SharePoint and Jira
  • Assist with procurement coordination, travel logistics, consultant onboarding, and administrative project processes
  • Support compliance reviews, risk identification, and mitigation efforts across operational and financial activities
  • Contribute to donor reporting and ensure adherence to contractual and regulatory requirements
