Requirements
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
- CPA designation (or near completion) preferred.
- Experience in a product-based or manufacturing environment.
- Proven experience in owning the month-end close and full-cycle accounting.
- Direct experience leading or owning the client side of an audit.
- Strong understanding of internal controls, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
- Experience with tools such as Xero, Expensify, Dext, and modern accounting systems.
Responsibilities
- Own and execute the full month-end close process.
- Lead all balance sheet and key account reconciliations.
- Review and approve all Accounts Payable activity.
- Oversee payroll review to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Review employee expense reports.
- Ensure Dext and intake systems are functioning effectively.
- Own audit preparation and act as the primary contact for external auditors.
- Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, workflows, and controls.
