Requirements
- 10+ years of professional experience
- 5+ years focused on Data Engineering
- Deep technical expertise with Kafka
- Experience with OLAP databases (Clickhouse highly preferred)
- Fluency in Python and SQL
- Willingness to use Claude Code for agentic AI-assisted development
- Strong hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with automated CI/CD pipelines
- Significant experience with open-source modern data stack tools
- Excellent communication skills
- Fluency in English
Responsibilities
- Developing and driving the architecture of complex data systems
- Designing and optimizing production-grade data pipelines
- Driving Spec-Driven Development (SDD) using OpenSpec or GitHub Spec Kit
- Orchestrating agentic AI workflows with Claude Code and the Model Context Protocol
- Taking full accountability and ownership of system components
- Implementing rigorous testing and monitoring frameworks
- Mentoring junior engineers
