Requirements
- Active Secret clearance.
- Foundational certification (CySA+, PenTest+, CEH, GCIA, or DoD 8140 equivalent).
- Relevant experience based on education level (e.g., 5 years with BS/BA).
- Familiarity with Splunk, AWS GuardDuty, CloudWatch, AWS Security Hub.
- Experience with ACAS/Tenable and STIG/SCAP automation.
- Knowledge of eMASS/RMF tooling and Tanium/SteelCloud.
- Proficiency in Python/SQL for analytics.
- Experience with SIEM playbooks and SOAR orchestration.
Responsibilities
- Support monitoring and analysis of cloud security events, logs, and alerts.
- Configure, operate, and maintain security monitoring and reporting tools.
- Develop and maintain security dashboards and recurring reports.
- Validate and reconcile security data for accuracy and consistency.
- Perform vulnerability scanning and assessment (ACAS/Nessus) and coordinate remediation.
- Support incident response and escalation procedures.
- Configure and maintain SIEM tools and log aggregation platforms.
