Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
- 7+ years of experience in security engineering.
- Strong understanding of Threat Modeling Principles.
- Experience with Security Incident Response & Risk Management.
- Hands-on expertise with SIEM (Splunk/Sumo Logic), EDR (CrowdStrike/SentinelOne), and vulnerability management tools.
- Proficiency in cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP) including IAM and VPCs.
- Experience with automation/IAC tools (Terraform, Ansible, Helm) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Proficiency in scripting (Python, PowerShell, Bash).
- Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and container security (Kubernetes, Docker).
- Proven track record in incident response, threat hunting, and forensics.
Responsibilities
- Focus on infrastructure security through architecture reviews and threat modeling.
- Design, deploy, and manage advanced security tools including SIEM, EDR, DLP, and firewalls.
- Engineer integrations for security tooling across cloud environments.
- Collaborate with cloud engineering teams on cloud-native security controls.
- Lead evaluation and implementation of new security technologies.
- Develop secure configurations for systems and networking equipment.
- Automate security processes using scripting and IAC tools.
- Conduct security assessments and vulnerability management.
