Requirements
- Associate’s degree in IT, Cybersecurity, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2+ years of experience in SOC, NOC, IT support, or infrastructure operations.
- Ability to combine cybersecurity expertise with customer-centric communication.
- Strong troubleshooting and incident response skills across security, network, systems, and cloud domains.
- Familiarity with SIEM platforms, monitoring tools, and alert management systems.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Responsibilities
- Detect and respond to security threats across network, systems, and cloud environments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
- Perform root cause analysis to prevent future incidents.
- Act as an escalation point for unresolved alerts/issues.
- Mentor SNOC Engineer I team members.
- Create and improve Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and knowledge base documentation.
- Support compliance initiatives (CMMC, SOC 2, ISO 27001).
- Maintain and tune SIEM and EDR detections.
