Requirements
- MD degree
- Valid medical license
- Minimum 15 years of relevant work experience
- Minimum 10 years of experience in drug development and/or clinical research
- Minimum 4 years of experience in a management role
- Good knowledge of GxP
- Knowledge of GDPR/HIPAA, CFR/CTR/CTD and applicable local regulatory requirements
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Good command of English language
- Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and conflict resolution skills
- Excellent organizational, negotiating and financial skills
Responsibilities
- Identify, develop and implement the business strategy for the Medical Affairs and Pharmacovigilance departments
- Develop and agree upon annual revenues, sales, profit and operational targets
- Evaluate and direct the organization's activities to achieve targets for performance, quality, culture and legislative adherence
- Develop and agree upon operating procedures / business processes
- Preside over management team meetings
- Maintain and develop organizational culture, values, and reputation
- Report to stakeholders on business strategy planning, results and performance
- Act as the organization's representative in its dealings with the outside world
- Manage direct reporting staff and contribute to staff learning & development
- Monitor client satisfaction and maintain key accounts
