Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in data science, machine learning, AI engineering, or related fields.
- 2+ years of experience deploying and operating production AI/ML systems.
- Proficiency in Python and common ML frameworks.
- Experience deploying and operating open-source LLMs (Llama, Mistral, Hugging Face).
- Experience with RAG architectures, agent frameworks, and prompt engineering.
- Experience with Azure Government cloud services including Azure AI Foundry and AKS.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and GPU-based inference systems.
- Strong knowledge of SQL, ETL/ELT pipelines, and vector databases.
- Experience with Git, CI/CD, and Infrastructure-as-Code.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, train, evaluate, and deploy machine learning and generative AI solutions.
- Develop and maintain predictive analytics, NLP, computer vision, and LLM-based applications.
- Implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), agentic workflows, and knowledge management solutions.
- Deploy and operate local/open-source models in secure environments with GPU inference optimization.
- Design and deploy AI solutions within Azure Government using Azure AI Foundry and related services.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines for machine learning and AI workloads.
- Establish MLOps processes for AI model deployment, maintenance, and drift detection.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate operational requirements into technical AI solutions.
