Requirements
- Strong cloud infrastructure experience (AWS preferred, GCP considered).
- Hands-on Kubernetes experience.
- Strong proficiency in Infrastructure-as-code (Terraform preferred, but Pulumi, CloudFormation, Ansible acceptable).
- Deep expertise in CI/CD build, test, and deploy workflows.
- History of measuring developer delivery performance (DORA, SPACE).
- Comfortable owning production systems and participating in on-call rotations.
- Solid background in software engineering (building/maintaining applications).
- Ability to design pleasant, ergonomic developer tools.
- Excellent async-first communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Own Primer's internal developer platform end to end (CI/CD pipelines, deployment workflows, self-service tooling, ephemeral environments).
- Build the human-AI development loop, including tooling and automation for agent-driven workflows.
- Treat developer productivity as a measurable system using DORA, SPACE or similar frameworks.
- Join the Core Infrastructure on-call rotation and maintain operational reliability.
- Set technical direction for build and shipping standards.
- Partner with product teams to improve developer tooling, frameworks, and internal APIs.
- Build paved roads to reduce boilerplate and standardize service building.
- Work in the open across a fully distributed team.
