Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in Software Engineering and/or Technical Leadership
- 3+ years leading AI/ML or high-throughput distributed systems teams
- Proven track record running agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban)
- Deep hands-on architectural experience with LLMs and enterprise-scale systems
- Experience partnering with System Architects to govern AWS infrastructure
- Familiarity with agentic orchestration frameworks (LangGraph, AWS Step Functions)
- Working knowledge of Amazon Bedrock APIs, Guardrails, and Knowledge Base configurations
- Understanding of vector retrieval strategies (pgvector, Amazon OpenSearch) and in-memory stores
- Experience designing for idempotency and stateful rollback in distributed AI pipelines
- Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills
- Hands-on implementation experience with Vercel AI SDK, LangGraph, or LlamaIndex
Responsibilities
- Organizing and facilitating sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.
- Shielding teams from distractions by providing clean task definitions and scoped requirements.
- Balancing AI prototyping with pipeline stabilization.
- Managing cross-team dependency and interface mapping.
- Translating architectural guardrails into practical engineering workflows.
- Partnering with architects to ensure AWS service usage aligns with security and compliance.
- Overseeing evaluation frameworks for agent workflows to ensure deterministic behavior.
- Validating data ingestion and type-safe validation layers.
- Managing centralized repositories for system prompts and Bedrock configurations.
- Defining and enforcing robust CI/CD strategies for AI agents.
