Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in Information Security positions.
- 2-3 years of experience in security architecture.
- AWS or Azure Architecture and Security certification.
- IASME / Cyber Essentials Plus certification.
- Proficiency in secure network architecture and technical design.
- Experience with threat modelling and gap analysis.
- Strong stakeholder management, presentation, and communication skills.
- Experience in writing security documentation like Risk Assessments, ESRM, and DPIA.
- Knowledge of IT/IS infrastructure such as databases and LANs.
- Proficiency in cloud/virtualization principles (SDDC, server/desktop virtualization).
- Must be able to hold HMG Security Check (SC) clearance.
Responsibilities
- Manage, deliver, and lead cyber security and cyber risk assignments.
- Produce security documentation including Risk Assessments, ESRM, and DPIA.
- Act as a subject matter expert to support teams and manage large-scale engagements.
- Provide strategic, risk, and technical advice to senior customer stakeholders.
- Perform gap analysis on existing capabilities and service maturity.
- Develop vision, principles, and strategy for security architects.
- Investigate major security breaches and recommend control improvements.
- Contribute to the development of information security policies, standards, and procedures.
- Serve as a point of escalation for architects in lower-grade roles.
