Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with cloud networking and distributed systems at SaaS scale.
- Expertise in architecting and debugging across the stack.
- Deep knowledge of internet architecture: DNS, CDN, WAF, Load Balancing, Ingress, and Service Mesh.
- Proficiency in Go or similar languages.
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
- Experience building observable platforms, defining SLIs/SLOs, and establishing team standards.
- On-call experience including incident resolution and postmortems.
- Consistently apply a security-first approach to infrastructure design.
Responsibilities
- Deliver network stack projects end-to-end including service mesh, DNS, ingress/egress, CDN, edge protection, and L4/L7 policy.
- Shape technical vision, execute delivery, and maintain operability.
- Integrate networking into self-service platforms to enable engineering teams.
- Participate in the on-call rotation and drive incident resolution.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners in security, platform, and product engineering.
- Foster a collaborative team culture by conducting design reviews and mentoring.
