- Understanding of Layer 1 environments
- Knowledge of power and capacity concepts (e.g., kW, amps, PUE)
- Server hardware fundamentals and performance considerations
- Proficiency in core infrastructure concepts (storage, RAID, CPU, memory, OS)
- Networking basics
- Hardware troubleshooting and diagnostics
- Ability to communicate with technical and non-technical collaborators
- Experience with scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell, or Java)
- Experience using AI-powered tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude)
Responsibilities
- Build scalable and efficient server infrastructure solutions
- Partner with multi-functional teams to define technical specifications
- Evaluate, select, and manage server hardware and vendors
- Plan and monitor capacity (power, space, cooling, network)
- Ensure infrastructure security and compliance
- Lead operational excellence through troubleshooting, reporting, and automation
