Requirements
- J.D. degree from an accredited law school
- Active bar admission in at least one U.S. state
- 10+ years of legal experience
- Significant in-house experience
- Background in technology, talent assessment platforms, or professional services/workforce solutions
- Experience improving and operationalizing legal processes in a high-growth environment
- Excellent business judgment and ability to balance risk-reward
- Demonstrated experience defining AI governance frameworks
- Experience navigating emerging technology legal considerations including data ownership and AI-related contract terms
Responsibilities
- Counsel on the risks and opportunities of proposed commercial actions
- Translate complex legal considerations into practical, solution-oriented guidance
- Own all legal aspects of deal processes and engagements with customers
- Define and maintain AI governance frameworks for commercial legal matters
- Partner with go-to-market leaders and finance teams to negotiate enterprise-level customer agreements
- Manage relationships with external counsel across commercial and product matters
- Contribute to an inclusive environment where diverse perspectives drive better outcomes
