Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 6–10+ years of relevant systems administration experience depending on education level.
- 3–4+ years of hands-on experience administering Siemens Teamcenter environments.
- Strong expertise in Windows Server administration.
- Experience with enterprise application servers such as Apache, JBoss (or equivalents), and SOLR.
- Solid background in system troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and infrastructure optimization.
- Strong scripting skills in PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work across diverse technical teams.
- Familiarity with PLM environments and engineering/manufacturing systems is highly desirable.
- Experience with Oracle or other relational databases is a plus.
- Knowledge of Linux (RHEL/CentOS), CI/CD pipelines, Agile/SAFe methodologies, and ITIL is preferred.
- Certifications such as Teamcenter Administration, ITIL Foundation, or Security+ are advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and administer Teamcenter environments across production, test, and development systems.
- Manage architecture components including web tier, enterprise tier, FMS/FSC, security services, dispatcher, and client applications.
- Perform patching, upgrades, and release management activities to ensure system stability and continuity.
- Monitor system performance, conduct tuning, and execute capacity planning for scalable infrastructure operations.
- Lead incident troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and corrective action implementation for production issues.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts (PowerShell, Python, Bash) and system monitoring solutions.
- Manage user access, system locks, and routine administrative tasks across PLM environments.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, SOPs, and disaster recovery procedures.
- Support cross-functional communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance reliability, performance, and system efficiency.
