Requirements
- 2+ years of claims handling experience.
- Experience with coverage and liability.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal, analytical, investigative, and negotiation skills.
- Mac literate (Google and Microsoft suite).
- Bachelor's degree.
- Valid Texas Independent Adjuster License or ability to obtain one.
- Ability to work in a remote team environment.
- Adaptable to fast-paced environments with strict deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Manage, investigate, and resolve commercial general liability property damage claims.
- Evaluate coverage based on policy, investigation, and applicable statutes.
- Settle claims within prescribed authority levels.
- Communicate with policyholders, witnesses, and claimants to gather information.
- Respond to written and telephone inquiries.
- Comply with statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Meet quality assurance standards and performance goals.
- Manage high-volume claims with varying complexity.
