Requirements
- 5–8+ years of data engineering experience.
- Expertise in modern data stack (e.g., Estuary, Astronomer Airflow, dbt, Holistics).
- Strong SQL and data modeling foundations.
- Experience owning data quality, testing, and observability end-to-end.
- Ability to integrate AI into development workflows.
- Proven accountability for systems and technical projects.
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with diverse stakeholders.
- Experience with marketplace data, applied AI/ML pipelines, or customer-facing analytics.
Responsibilities
- Architect, build, and maintain the infrastructure that moves and transforms marketplace data.
- Own the analytical schema in the data warehouse.
- Design and enforce data quality standards across the stack.
- Make intentional architectural decisions with appropriate abstraction.
- Contribute exemplary code in pipeline logic, SQL, and data modeling.
- Share meaningful code reviews to evolve team practices.
- Debug and resolve data issues and drive root cause analysis.
- Take end-to-end accountability for data systems and roadmap themes.
- Partner with Product and Data teams to support reliable decision making.
- Identify opportunities for data infrastructure leverage.
