Requirements
- Active Resident State Life and Health Insurance license.
- Ability to comply with agent appointment and carrier certification requirements.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Experience using Microsoft Office.
- Ability to multi-task between multiple screens and windows.
- Experience in a needs-based sales role.
- Ability to learn new proprietary computer systems.
- Ability to work autonomously in a self-paced environment.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret insurance documents and policies.
- Dedicated, distraction-free home workspace.
- Wired Ethernet connection with 100 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload speeds.
Responsibilities
- Successfully complete all required certifications to represent state-specific and national insurance carriers.
- Support early outreach efforts to new members by making outbound and outreach calls.
- Engage in high-volume phone conversations with participants during AEP (Oct-Dec).
- Use a consultative sales approach to listen to and assess each Medicare eligible participant’s needs.
- Conduct eligibility and needs analysis to determine suitable plan options.
- Explain costs and benefits of insurance plans and assist participants in the decision-making process.
- Maintain professionalism and patience with each caller.
- Collaborate with team members in a call-center environment.
- Adhere to all legal regulations.
