Requirements
- Minimum 2 years experience in a Human Resources Generalist role.
- Broad knowledge of HR programs, benefits, policies, and procedures.
- Knowledge of state laws and regulations affecting HR management.
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
- SHRM-CP or equivalent certification (preferred).
- Experience with multi-state employment (preferred).
- Proficiency with G-Suite, Paylocity, Dayforce, Monday.com, and Zoom (preferred).
- High attention to detail and ability to adapt to new processes.
- Project management and multitasking experience.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Strong ethics and professional integrity.
- Reliable and secure internet access.
Responsibilities
- Processes and administers leave-of-absence requests and disability paperwork.
- Processes and administers accommodation requests through the interactive process.
- Assists with benefits administration and performs quality audits on benefit data.
- Conducts new-hire onboarding and I-9 verifications.
- Serves as a point of contact for HR-related questions and policy inquiries.
- Triages the HR email inbox.
- Maintains accurate human resource files and records.
- Monitors federal and state laws affecting human resources management.
- Conducts background checks and motor vehicle record requests.
- Performs routine administrative tasks regarding worker’s compensation, unemployment claims, and employee changes.
