Requirements
- Active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
- UBE jurisdictions preferred, with the ability to transfer scores if needed
- 1–6 years of civil defense litigation experience
- Strong skills in legal research, writing, and oral advocacy
- Experience drafting pleadings
- Experience handling discovery
- Experience managing motion practice
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
- Team-oriented mindset
- Proactive, ownership-driven approach
Responsibilities
- Handle a variety of complex civil defense matters
- Manage toxic tort (asbestos) litigation
- Manage premises liability cases
- Manage product liability cases
- Manage general liability defense
- Draft pleadings
- Argue motions
- Conduct depositions
- Manage discovery
- Appear in court
