Requirements
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred.
- Strong knowledge of speech and language development and disorders.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in assessment, therapy planning, and documentation.
- Experience in teletherapy or online speech-language therapy services preferred.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of students' speech, language, and communication abilities.
- Develop individualized therapy plans and goals based on assessment results and students' needs.
- Provide direct therapy services to students, targeting areas such as articulation, phonology, language comprehension, fluency, and pragmatic skills.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other members of the educational team.
- Incorporate evidence-based techniques into therapy sessions.
- Monitor students' progress and adjust therapy plans as needed.
- Document therapy sessions, progress reports, and other relevant information.
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide input regarding speech and language needs.
