Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • 2 years of Customer Service experience.
  • Working knowledge of shipping procedures and practices.
  • Working knowledge of inventory control processes.
  • Familiarity with inventoried product line specifications.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming calls and emails from Territory Managers.
  • Research and provide information such as ETA, order tracking, and delivery issues.
  • Process orders, invoices, credits, and returns.
  • Manage vendor drop ship orders and update order status.
  • Resolve shipping discrepancies and back-order issues.
  • Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction.
  • Communicate with internal departments including Accounting and Purchasing.
  • Participate in regular company training programs.
