Requirements
- 8+ years of progressive accounting experience.
- CPA certification required.
- Working knowledge of ASC 606 applied to SaaS (subscription, usage-based).
- Understanding of full order-to-cash lifecycle in a Stripe-based environment.
- Experience managing a debt facility including covenant compliance.
- Multi-state tax compliance experience (SaaS taxability, indirect tax).
- Experience with ERP transitions (e.g., QBO, Rillet, NetSuite).
- Ability to communicate clearly to non-finance stakeholders.
- Comfort operating in a fast-moving environment.
Responsibilities
- Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process end-to-end.
- Lead application of ASC 606 across subscription, AI usage-based, and platform payment revenue.
- Own full order-to-cash flow, including Stripe billing and reconciliation.
- Own cash flow forecasting and management.
- Manage debt facility compliance, covenants, and lender reporting.
- Own multi-state income tax compliance and SaaS taxability analysis.
- Coordinate payroll, equity processing, AP/AR, and cash management.
- Evaluate and improve the accounting tech stack to support scale.
