Requirements
- 7+ years of hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure/platform engineering
- Demonstrated history as a formal people manager or tech lead
- Strong hands-on experience with Terraform in production
- Strong hands-on experience operating Kubernetes in production
- Strong AWS fundamentals (compute, networking, IAM)
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
- Experience building automation using Bash and Python or Go
- Hands-on experience using AI coding tools
- Experience with observability fundamentals including metrics, logging, and SLO/SLI design
Responsibilities
- Manage a team of engineers with full accountability for their performance, growth, and wellbeing
- Translate architectural direction into sprint-level tasks
- Build and evolve CI/CD pipelines and delivery automation
- Improve observability and operational readiness across metrics, logging, and tracing
- Design and implement self-service workflows using infrastructure-as-code
- Champion AI-assisted development practices
- Participate in on-call rotation and incident response coordination
