- Experience building systems-level software
- Proficiency in Go, Rust, C/C++, or Java
- Ability to reason about and explain complex tradeoffs
- Strong focus on reliability, security, and performance
- Experience with networking, proxies, or agents (preferred)
- Experience with SDKs or embeddable runtimes (preferred)
- Experience with observability tooling (preferred)

- Build and evolve the ngrok Agent itself
- Own reliability at the edge
- Develop SDKs and embeddable integrations
- Make the system observable
- Ship software that runs everywhere
- Collaborate closely with product, platform, and support teams
