Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, MIS, mathematics, or equivalent.
- 5+ years of full-stack software engineering experience.
- 5+ years of Java development including REST APIs using Spring Framework or Spring Boot.
- 5+ years using relational databases, analyzing and maintaining SQL Server/PostgreSQL stored procedures.
- 3+ years of Frontend development with Angular or React.
- 2+ years of experience working with REST APIs.
- 2+ years of experience with JPA, Hibernate, or equivalent ORM.
- 1+ year of experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust.
Responsibilities
- Work in a full life-cycle software engineering project environment.
- Bring new ideas, tools, services, and techniques to the group.
- Use analytical thinking to make decisions based on facts and metrics.
- Conduct thorough code reviews, implement unit and integration tests.
- Stay up to date on assigned specialties.
- Lead initiatives at or slightly above title.
- Follow coding standards.
- Foster asynchronous communication in a remote environment.
- Own smaller efforts and components of larger projects.
