- Experience
- 3 to 5 years of current MSL experience for MSL level; 5+ years for Senior MSL level
Requirements
- Pharm.D., Ph.D., M.D., D.O. or other relevant doctoral degree.
- For Senior MSL: 5+ years of current MSL experience.
- For MSL: 3 to 5 years of current MSL experience in Scientific/Medical Affairs at a biotech or pharmaceutical company.
- Experience with all phases of KOL development and HCP engagement.
- Experience with drug launches.
- Cardiology, Renal, or Metabolic experience preferred.
- 5+ years focused on clinical practice, clinical research, or medical research a plus.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Valid US driver’s license.
- Ability to travel 50-70% of the time.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and healthcare professionals within assigned region.
- Serve as subject matter expert at key medical and scientific conferences, advisory boards, and internal meetings.
- Deliver scientific presentations and training to diverse HCP audiences.
- Support clinical trial site activities and identify opportunities in investigator sponsored trial research.
- Gather, analyze, and communicate actionable insights from the field to inform company strategy.
- Lead and/or participate in project teams that support MSL strategies and tactics.
- Collaborate with Medical Affairs, R&D, and Commercial teams.
