Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in project management within outside plant (OSP) fiber construction.
- Proven leadership experience managing teams and large capital programs.
- Deep understanding of fiber network construction and engineering standards.
- Familiarity with permitting processes and utility regulations.
- Strong ability to develop and manage detailed project schedules.
- Experience with vendor management and contract negotiation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for executive reporting.
- Strong analytical and cost management skills.
- Proficiency with Google Suite, Smartsheet, and mapping platforms.
- Willingness to travel up to 20%.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage project delivery teams including project managers and construction managers.
- Oversee end-to-end project lifecycle management including scheduling and budgeting.
- Manage vendor selection, bid processes, and contract negotiations.
- Serve as primary escalation point for project issues and stakeholder challenges.
- Provide expert oversight of OSP engineering, construction, and permitting.
- Validate vendor invoices and ensure budget alignment.
- Support sales teams with cost estimates and timelines.
- Maintain executive-level reporting and stakeholder communication.
