Requirements
- 8–10 years of experience in a senior leadership role
- Experience managing large-scale programs or divisions
- Experience leading work within a State Education Agency or large district
- Demonstrated success driving implementation of complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives
- Experience managing grant relationships and setting performance expectations
- Track record of building trust with diverse state and district leaders
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to translate evidence and data into actionable guidance
Responsibilities
- Contribute substantive input and recommendations on state program strategy
- Lead engagement with a portfolio of 4–6 states through the State Implementation Fund
- Translate organizational strategy into actionable program plans
- Identify and address implementation barriers
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with state education agency leaders and district partners
- Monitor and analyze legislation, regulations, and emerging policy issues
- Represent Accelerate externally with state-level stakeholders
