Requirements

  • 8–10 years of experience in a senior leadership role
  • Experience managing large-scale programs or divisions
  • Experience leading work within a State Education Agency or large district
  • Demonstrated success driving implementation of complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives
  • Experience managing grant relationships and setting performance expectations
  • Track record of building trust with diverse state and district leaders
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to translate evidence and data into actionable guidance

Responsibilities

  • Contribute substantive input and recommendations on state program strategy
  • Lead engagement with a portfolio of 4–6 states through the State Implementation Fund
  • Translate organizational strategy into actionable program plans
  • Identify and address implementation barriers
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with state education agency leaders and district partners
  • Monitor and analyze legislation, regulations, and emerging policy issues
  • Represent Accelerate externally with state-level stakeholders
