Requirements

  • 4 years experience in Data Center, mission-critical, or electrical infrastructure markets.
  • Proven success in business development or strategic sales roles.
  • Strong understanding of Data Center design, construction, and specification-driven sales.
  • Willingness to travel nationally up to 50% of the time.
  • Project management skills.
  • Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with Salesforce.com.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Established network within the data centre industry.

Responsibilities

  • Drive strategic growth of Legrand’s Data Center solutions across Canada.
  • Act as national subject-matter expert for Data Center infrastructure solutions.
  • Engage end users, consulting engineers, contractors, and channel partners.
  • Develop and execute a national Data Center business development strategy.
  • Identify, qualify, and pursue new Data Center opportunities including hyperscale, colocation, enterprise, and edge environments.
  • Build and manage a robust opportunity pipeline from early design through project award.
  • Collaborate with other Legrand divisions including Avtron, DPC-Raritan, ServerTech, and Starline.
  • Support project tracking, forecasting, and CRM reporting through Salesforce.
  • Deliver technical presentations, lunch-and-learns, and solution briefings.
