Requirements
- 4 years experience in Data Center, mission-critical, or electrical infrastructure markets.
- Proven success in business development or strategic sales roles.
- Strong understanding of Data Center design, construction, and specification-driven sales.
- Willingness to travel nationally up to 50% of the time.
- Project management skills.
- Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Experience with Salesforce.com.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and planning skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- Established network within the data centre industry.
Responsibilities
- Drive strategic growth of Legrand’s Data Center solutions across Canada.
- Act as national subject-matter expert for Data Center infrastructure solutions.
- Engage end users, consulting engineers, contractors, and channel partners.
- Develop and execute a national Data Center business development strategy.
- Identify, qualify, and pursue new Data Center opportunities including hyperscale, colocation, enterprise, and edge environments.
- Build and manage a robust opportunity pipeline from early design through project award.
- Collaborate with other Legrand divisions including Avtron, DPC-Raritan, ServerTech, and Starline.
- Support project tracking, forecasting, and CRM reporting through Salesforce.
- Deliver technical presentations, lunch-and-learns, and solution briefings.
