Requirements
- High School diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.
- 2 years of Customer Service experience.
- Working knowledge of shipping procedures and practices.
- Understanding of inventory control processes and product line specifications.
- Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency with MS Windows and Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook).
- Familiarity with maintaining a customer database and Internet navigation.
Responsibilities
- Answer incoming calls and emails from Territory Managers.
- Research and provide information such as estimated time of arrival (ETA), customer history data, order tracking, and proof of delivery.
- Process orders, invoices, credits, and returns.
- Enter and update vendor drop ship orders.
- Check item availability and manage back orders.
- Review and resolve issues with customer orders such as shipment discrepancies.
- Prepare and send customer order acknowledgments.
- Communicate with internal departments including Accounting and Purchasing.
