Requirements
- Extensive experience as a product designer working on complex, high-usage digital products.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating excellence in interaction design, UI craft, and measurable product impact.
- Proven ability to operate in ambiguous problem spaces.
- Strong systems thinking with the ability to understand product architecture and constraints.
- Experience collaborating closely with Product and Engineering teams.
- Excellent communication skills with confidence in presenting and defending design decisions.
- Ability to leverage user feedback and behavioral insights.
- Comfortable working in highly experimental environments where AI and emerging technologies are used.
- Track record of contributing to or shaping early-stage product development in SaaS or platform-based products.
- Strong sense of ownership and ability to drive initiatives independently.
Responsibilities
- Own and drive major design initiatives across the core video creation and editing experience.
- Define and evolve the design vision for key parts of the editor.
- Partner closely with Product and Engineering teams to define success metrics, product principles, and quality standards.
- Design intuitive yet powerful interaction models for canvas, timeline, and editor workflows.
- Develop scalable design systems and interaction patterns.
- Enhance collaboration features within the editor.
- Prototype and validate new interaction concepts rapidly.
- Continuously raise the bar for UI quality and interaction design.
