Requirements

  • Significant hands-on experience building tools, scripts, or automation systems.
  • Strong experience developing workflows for Unity.
  • Strong experience with DCC tools such as Maya, Blender, or Houdini.
  • Proficiency with C#, Python, or similar scripting/programming languages.
  • Experience optimizing game content for performance, memory, and asset size.
  • Experience leading or mentoring Technical Artists, Technical Animators, or Riggers.
  • Experience working with outsourcing and/or co-development partners.
  • Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain tools, automation, and workflows for Unity and DCC applications.
  • Investigate and resolve complex technical issues across assets, shaders, materials, and animation.
  • Partner with cross-disciplinary teams to define scalable production pipelines and technical standards.
  • Drive optimization efforts for runtime assets, memory usage, and shaders.
  • Manage, mentor, and support a team of 6–9 technical staff.
  • Act as a technical resource to unblock production teams.
  • Collaborate with outsourcing and co-development partners to define technical expectations.
