Requirements
- Degree from an accredited College/University in the applicable field of services or 4 additional years of related experience.
- 15+ years of overall IT experience.
- 10+ years of DBA experience.
- 8+ years of experience as a SQL Server DBA in production environments.
- Proficiency in SQL Server 2016/2019/2022 (T-SQL, SSMS, Agent Jobs, Maintenance Plans).
- Hands-on experience with Always On Availability Groups, Failover Clustering, Log Shipping, and Database Mirroring.
- Skilled in performance troubleshooting using SQL Profiler, Extended Events, and DMVs.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitLab, Octopus Deploy) and version control.
- Experience maintaining backend SQL databases for legacy SharePoint (2010/2013/2016).
- Basic PowerShell scripting experience.
Responsibilities
- Perform planning, development, implementation, maintenance and support client’s centralized organization for total support of the database environment.
- Develop and maintain the project plans in accordance with client’s standards.
- Develop standards and procedures, both operational and functional.
- Interact with other client organizations and individuals to understand applications and resolve problems.
- Support different shifts to enable 24x7 support including on-call duties.
- Work independently on high-visibility or mission-critical aspects of the program.
- Oversee the efforts of direct reporting resources.
