Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
- 8+ years of related experience.
- 2+ years of people management experience.
- Strong accounting foundation with experience in US GAAP.
- Experience in accounting integration of acquired entities.
- Ability to balance core accounting with process improvement initiatives.
- Experience working in environments involving acquisitions or operational transitions.
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- CPA certification (preferred).
- Experience with QuickBooks and/or Oracle (preferred).
Responsibilities
- Lead and support accounting activities to ensure compliance and efficiency.
- Oversee controllership processes including journal entries, GL, AR, AP, fixed assets, and revenue reconciliation.
- Lead the integration of acquired accounting operations into standardized systems.
- Partner with transformation teams to identify and implement process improvements and automation.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow).
- Design and implement accounting controls and procedures.
- Collaborate with Finance and Operations to support scalability and digital mandates.
- Manage and coach a team of four direct reports.
