Requirements
- 5–8 years of backend software engineering experience in production environments.
- Experience building AI-powered systems including LLM integrations, agents, or AI-driven features.
- Familiarity with LLM APIs and frameworks such as OpenAI, Anthropic, LangChain, or similar tools.
- Experience building evaluation pipelines for AI systems including testing and benchmarking.
- Strong background in integration engineering and designing robust external service connectors.
- Experience with data pipelines for AI use cases including RAG, embeddings, and vector search.
- Strong backend architecture and system design skills.
- Experience in high-growth or early-stage environments.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams.
- Curiosity for AI systems paired with strong engineering discipline.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and scale backend infrastructure for AI-powered features and intelligence.
- Build and maintain application-layer AI infrastructure including agent scaffolding and integration patterns.
- Design reliable, scalable integrations with third-party APIs and internal systems.
- Develop data pipelines powering AI systems including structured data flows, embeddings, and RAG infrastructure.
- Build and maintain evaluation frameworks for AI systems including benchmarking and quality validation.
- Collaborate across teams to define and standardize AI architecture patterns.
- Own reliability, scalability, and performance of backend systems in production.
- Contribute to technical standards for AI system development.
- Translate advancements in AI/LLM technologies into engineering improvements.
