Requirements
- 6–8 years of experience in SAP BASIS administration and production support environments.
- Strong hands-on experience handling P1/P2 incidents in enterprise SAP systems.
- Solid expertise in SAP system monitoring, administration, transport management, and job scheduling.
- Strong knowledge of SAP NetWeaver, system architecture, performance tuning, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Experience with incident management processes, RCA, and ticketing tools such as ServiceNow, Jira, or Remedy.
- Familiarity with system logs, dumps, trace analysis, and performance diagnostics.
- Exposure to SAP HANA and S/4HANA environments is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of database coordination (HANA, Oracle, SQL Server, or DB2) is an advantage.
- Understanding of ITIL processes and experience working in structured support environments.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to work under pressure.
Responsibilities
- Manage and resolve P1 and P2 production incidents, ensuring timely resolution within SLA/KPI targets.
- Perform detailed incident analysis, troubleshooting, and impact assessment for critical SAP BASIS issues.
- Lead and coordinate major incident calls, working closely with cross-functional teams.
- Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring issues and implement preventive measures.
- Administer SAP landscapes, including system monitoring, health checks, instance management, and routine BASIS operations.
- Manage transport requests, system changes, and support activities such as spool, job, user, and client administration.
- Monitor system performance, logs, dumps, and queues.
- Support patching activities, kernel upgrades, and system parameter changes.
