Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 8–12 years of experience in client-facing technology, consulting, solution architecture, pre-sales, or sales engineering roles.
- At least 6 years of hands-on experience designing, architecting, and delivering AWS-based solutions.
- Strong expertise in AWS architecture, cloud migration, modernization, and cloud-native solution design.
- Experience translating business challenges into scalable, outcome-driven cloud strategies and technical solutions.
- Proven ability to lead technical discovery sessions, workshops, proof-of-concepts, and client presentations.
- Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage both technical teams and senior business leaders.
- Experience supporting sales pursuits, proposal development, and Statements of Work creation.
- Knowledge of cloud security, governance frameworks, operating models, and engineering best practices.
- Familiarity with Data & Analytics, AI/ML, GenAI solutions, and emerging cloud technologies is highly desirable.
- AWS Professional or Specialty certifications are considered an advantage.
Responsibilities
- Partner with mid-market clients to understand their business goals, technical landscapes, and transformation priorities through discovery workshops and stakeholder engagements.
- Design scalable, secure, and business-focused AWS architectures that address modernization, migration, data, AI, analytics, and security requirements.
- Lead technical discussions, solution demonstrations, workshops, and proof-of-concept initiatives to validate proposed solutions and showcase business value.
- Act as a trusted technical advisor throughout the sales cycle, providing guidance on architecture, implementation approaches, best practices, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with sales teams to develop compelling proposals, Statements of Work (SOWs), and solution recommendations aligned with client objectives.
- Support the transition from sales to delivery by ensuring clear alignment between solution design, client expectations, and execution plans.
- Work closely with global teams to share knowledge, contribute to solution innovation, and promote continuous improvement across cloud transformation engagements.
